About Rebecca Kieler

I'm Rebecca Kieler and the founder of Kieler Career Consulting. I'm committed to coaching you through career and life transition, bringing insight and sense of direction and hope as well as bottom line results and having a good time along the way! I know how to help you actually find out what it is you really want to do and then how to help you land that new job or career. I have done it myself (3 different careers) and I have assisted hundreds of others to do it as well.

Kieler Career Consulting is a combination of all my life experience, it is growing to serve you. I have gone through a lot of life experiences to be in this place to pass it on to you. Take advantage of it! Together we can move you through your transition so much more smoothly!

Professional Experience:

I have worked with individuals and companies in career and life transition for over 25 years. You will get it like it is, no fluff, and without my ego in your way.

I spent almost 10 years in Social Work in Santa Clara County Social Services helping the indigent and building a Child Health and Disability Prevention Program that partnered with the County Health Dept. to bring preventative health care to the children of these families. In nearly 20 years in Recruiting and Staffing/HR I located and hired thousands of individuals building the teams of premier companies in and around Silicon Valley during its high growth years. I worked for recruiting firms and agencies, had my own recruiting business, worked as a consultant and finally as a corporate employee ending that phase of my career as Director of America's Staffing at Mercury Interactive.

With my passion and professional experience combined together I draw on various experiences as an entrepreneur, social worker and recruiter, and believer in living the life you want and deserve. My approach has allowed people to develop and attain realistic goals that result in increased life purpose, satisfaction and fulfillment, both personally and professionally.

Speaking and Training:

As a speaker and trainer my venues have included Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, Advantage Inc. of Cupertino, Life Moxie Inc., C.S.M. Career Information Day, Silicon Valley Black Chamber of Commerce, Women's Economic Power Day, CSIX, CA People Search, Hispanic Chamber of SM, French Chamber of SF and others.

Partnerships and Affiliations:

I am a consultant for Right Management Consultants (www.right.com) and Life Moxie Inc. Member of the International Coach Federation and founding member of the International Association of Coaches and an ongoing student with Coachville's School of Coaching, founding member of eWomen San Mateo and others.

When I am not busy coaching, speaking, or giving workshops, I also love to travel, sail, hike with friends, read and be involved in my community especially with kids. Especially close to my heart is Girls For a Change and East Palo Alto High School and working with these kids is something I would not trade for the world. I'm a strong advocate of thinking globally and acting locally.
